Unique boat fender, (they are not called bumpers), made with woven rope!
This is not a tool of my trade but I am retired and love boating. This is definitely an older work boat...someone's work boat. A fender is the tool of the trade.
The texture on the water is ice. It was just about freezing that day, Nov. 26, 2005 on Long Island.
