| Science fiction has been one of my favourite movie and television genres. Good science fiction is not about the toys or the special effects, rather it is the dystopian motif that is used to bring a mirror to the present. Typically this is achieved cinematically with the use of a limited colour palette and chiaroscuro lighting. |
