A Study in Daisies I
He came home one day with a bunch of wildflowers.
"It's for you, my darling," he said.
"They've been under the sun all day so some of them are already droopy," he added.
He picked them up from a Mennonite stall by the road, I know. He doesn't believe in spending more than a couple of bucks on cut flowers. They'll die soon anyway, he always says.
