Prairie Liminality: The Space between Land and Sky

Liminality: from the Latin word limen, meaning "a threshold" (Wikipedia).

On the prairies, the horizon is the liminal space--the place in between. I live in this transitional place and there is no buffer between me and the land and the sky.
