Teresa's tree

Yosemite is a testament to the tenacity of life. A Giant Ponderosa Pine springs from the cracks between the stone and forces its way into existence. Overcoming external pressures the diversity of life pushes onward and upward in a land that seems to be frozen in time, but in truth remains in a constant state of flux.

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.
e. e. cummings
