Mooring, Closer

Welcome to the delicious ambiguous. Inoneear’s photo mooring, closer implies much and answers nothing. Which, for
me, means I liked it immediately and then I liked it more each time I revisited (providing an interesting pun — liking it more when viewed
closer). Are we floating or are we flying? A visual poem crossed with a beckoning finger, this photo makes me think of mythical avalon as
well as summers past, present and future. It cradles a nostalgic quality while being tethered to the present tense. I’ve become
attached to this photo, wishing it was a book cover or something else that would indicate stories and fables inside.
