In weightless space a liquid automatically forms a perfect sphere. A ball, in other words. It is the most pure natural form, elegant in its simplicity, and our response to a ball…child and adult alike…is equally pure and natural. We instinctively roll it, toss it, catch it, play with it.
This image reminds us of the artless, organic beauty of a child at play. No experience we will ever have as adults will bring us the same unadulterated delight of a tow-headed child rolling a ball on the lawn on a perfect sunlit afternoon.
