Caspar walking…

This is not a photograph of a dog walking alone. It’s a photograph of a relationship. We don’t need to see the photographer at the other end of the leash to know she’s there.

The bond between humans and dogs is based on affection and fidelity. A dog is always there, nonjudgmental, a constant reminder of what’s important…food, sleep, occasional exercise. And love, of course. Unfaltering, unqualified, unambiguous love. Just as we don’t need to see the photographer to know she’s there, we don’t need to see a display of the love to know it’s there. The true wonder of dogs is that love is a given.
