7:42am : Late again
David Maddison

Where you stand shapes what you see. This solitary figure seems painfully isolated, dwarfed by the angular forms of station. That endless, empty line of track reinforces his insignificance and vulnerability. He could be a sacrificial victim on the altar of industrial geometry.

But where you stand shapes what you see. Not isolated at all, his cell phone keeps him connected to the entire world. That angular station exists to serve him, and that long line of track will carry a massive engine from miles away and stop it right at his feet for his convenience. Rather than a forlorn victim on an altar, this person could be sitting on a throne at the center of the universe.

Where you stand shapes what you see.
