Ancient Ruins

Long exposure shots are like being ushered politely to a posh seat by a tuxedo clad man and given a glass of good wine. Wisps of blurry cloud hint at the motion of the sky, trees cast shadows and echoes of movement around their periphery and there the stone stands, still and resolute. Made by nature and reformed by man, the long columns are frame and canvas; both alien and indigent. The patient lens captures every time-worn detail … while the clouds shift and the trees sway.
