There’s safety here. It’s clean, organized, geometric. Solid. One wonders if the pattern continues – are there three parts locker to one part fire extinguisher in an endless row of safety-conscious tidiness? Does the soft brown of the surface reflect up in a gentle golden glow until it meets the red tag on each one? And does every red tag bear the careful initial of the same person who built this safety zone of fractional beauty? Yes, there’s something solid and grounding about this photograph. A sense of preparation, order and … safety.
