Here is mystery…mystery in the classical sense. The term mystery shares the same Latin root as mystic; both grow out of a notion of spiritual secrets revealed only to those who have been enlightened.
And isn’t that what’s happening here? We are very literally being shown the light. Secrets of the spirit are illuminated. Answers to some mysteries are revealed, yet the revelation exposes still more mysteries. There are always, it seems, wheels within wheels, mysteries within mysteries.
The first step to being privy to the mysteries of the world is to be aware they exist and open to seeing them, even in the most mundane circumstances.
