Vita

We’ve all been there, sitting at the table in a semi-empty coffee shop, looking through the want ads. Looking to move into a new job, looking to move into a new apartment, looking to move into the next stage of your life.

The want ads are a map whose features change daily. Open it one week and the map may lead you in this direction; open it another week and it leads you somewhere else. If you looked a week earlier, you might have a better job; if you looked a week later, you might live in a different neighborhood.

The paths diverge, forks appear in the road and you have to make choices…this way or that way. There’s no telling where the chosen paths actually lead. But we know where they begin. At a table in a semi-empty coffee shop.
