There is beauty seen of the eye, beauty perceived by the mind, and beauty that pierces the heart. The eye sees what is there, and the mind comprehends with acid clarity what the eye cannot see. But the heart…the heart sees through what is there to what ought to be there, it comprehends beauty with a sort of clarity that can only be perceived through a murky lens.
Here is beauty of the heart. What the eye sees as trash and the mind comprehends as litter, the heart experiences as the scattered petals of exotic flowers. The eye sees decay and graffiti, the mind comprehends chaos and entropy; the heart sees romance and a twilight fantasy.
Always trust the heart. Never trust the heart. Always trust the heart.
