Let N equal the number of preternaturally wise five year old children per square kilometer. Let A equal the number of African masks in private homes located in the northern hemisphere of the Americas. Let C equal the number of camera-laden mothers (or the velocity of light, which is roughly the same number). Finally, let P equal the probability of N, A and C existing in the same geospatial coordinate at the same discrete moment in time.
P is a very small number.
Using this algebra of imagination, we are able to determine with near certainty that the likelihood of this photograph existing is so infinitesimally tiny that it should be discounted altogether. Yet here it is. Here it is, ever so rare and exceedingly beautiful.
Let G equal how totally gobsmacked we are. G is a very large number.
