go through this door
or you will not go through.
Leave or stay, take the job or don’t take the job, go on that date or stand him up, move to a new city or remain where you are, go to the movies or stay home and take a nap: every decision, in its own way, looks exactly like this. We may weigh the pros and cons and ask for advice or we may rush impulsively, and no matter what, the exciting thing is that we never really do know what will happen next.
The door itself
makes no promises.
It is only a door.
