From Scarlett O’Hara tearfully looking up from the foot of the stairs in her Atlanta mansion after Rhett Butler has left her and saying “After all, tomorrow is another day,” to the postcard bearing the words of Andy Warhol that hangs on my bedroom door, “My philosophy is: Every day’s a new day,” it is a common theme that no matter what today may hold, tomorrow is another chance. And for those few tiny moments at the beginning of each day, before the dreams of the night past have left us entirely and the reality of the hours ahead have time to settle on us completely, there is that perfect sleepy-eyed sweetness that comes from being inside of a new dawn.
