Somewhere right this very minute faucets are dripping, leaves are falling from trees, gauzy curtains are dancing with wind, dogs are snoring contentedly in patches of sunshine, babies are giggling, shoes are clacking on pavement. People are smoking cigarettes or having drinks or waiting for the bus. Somewhere the sun is suddenly obscured by clouds and somewhere else it shines brightly and illuminates a glass of water on a kitchen counter just so. There’s an old man sitting on a bench underneath a tree in a park, there’s a woman who shivers in the cold December wind and wraps up more tightly in her coat. There are millions of things happening right this very moment, tiny perfect things that are there and gone in an instant. And it’s so good when someone has a camera to catch one of them.
