I stumbled out of bed I got ready for the struggle
Sometimes when you wake up in the morning, you just feel longer than you did the day before, like someone came to stretch you out in the night and now you don’t quite move right. Sometimes when you wake up in the morning, you just feel stranger than you did the day before, like someone else replaced you in the night, and now you don’t quite know right.
The weirdest thing of all is that there’s nothing for it, days like these, but to go on getting dressed. Put your t-shirt on, put your sock on. They’re still there. They still fit.
No one can tell you where you were made. No one can tell you if you’re the real thing. But one of these mornings, someone will notice. Time will tell.
