It was 22°C in Kentucky

Some days are good for you, but not for the dog: You get to eat a beautifully cooked steak, just charred on the outside and glistening pink as soon as you slice it open, the dog gets the same old crunchy pellets it gets every day. Well, at least someone’s happy.
Other days are good for the dog, but not for you: The dog gets to gnaw on something totally awesome and chewy, smelling of well-marinated feet, you have to write off a pair of shoes you’ve loved since you were a senior in college and still thought 12-hole boots were cool with a long skirt. Well, at least someone’s happy.
But there are days, man, when things are rough for everyone. You’re standing out there in the Ontario March freezing your ass off for the dog’s sake, the dog is wearing an effing Elizabethan collar that prevents it from properly sticking its nose into all the places a nose most wants to go. Life’s a bitch sometimes. Good thing you’ve got each other.
