Things can be too much sometimes, and then they can turn right around and end up being not enough. The nights can be too long, the days too short, the heat can stifle, and the cold… the cold. Sometimes there aren’t enough sweaters in the world. The hours can be full of shattering arguments or crushing silences. Too much and not enough. That’s how it can be.

But then there are those moments, and they usually come in the middle of too much or the center of not enough. They are the moments of embraces and calm breathing and “I love you.” They are the moments that cull the things that overwhelm and fill the empty spaces. No matter how fleeting, these are the moments that are exactly right and just enough, and they are the moments that can save your life.
