I’m in Your Box Munchin’ Your Pie

Some photographs begin as ideas, vague thoughts that float across the brain. Others begin as questions in the form of “I wonder if I could _________?” Still more begin as challenges, as tests of equipment or skill. And then there are some that begin as titles. Photography is millions of things to at least as many people, so much so that it’s impossible to write about all the whys and hows, but I do know one thing for sure:

While a person certainly could cut a hole in a pizza box large enough to stick his head through for any reason in the world, such as attracting a mate or impressing the boss, it may seem… illogical. Yet somehow, when it’s for a photo, it all makes perfect sense.

This is one of the most obvious reasons why photography is so great.
