telling it on the mountain

Whether or not you believe in love at first sight, it’s easy to admit that there’s something. Attraction at first sight, maybe, but it’s definitely something. And one of the reasons why they say love at first sight hits you like a bolt of lightning is because it’s easy to understand. If you’ve ever watched a summer storm, you’ve felt the electricity in the air. It’s as though your every breath buzzes with the energy in the atmosphere. You know how that feels. And when you look at someone and feel like lightning just shot through your veins, instant and overpowering, so quick you might not even know what just happened, you know it’s something. Bam. Pow. Sizzle. There it is.

The other reason they say that love at first sight hits you like a bolt of lightning is even simpler: a direct hit of that much electricity can kill you.
