California is on fire again.
I heard about it on NPR on the drive home from the office, and again on the evening news, but they caught the terrorist on NCIS and my favorite designer didn’t get voted off Project Runway, and tomorrow’s another busy day so I should really get to sleep.
The newspaper online says homes have been destroyed and millions of dollars of damage done, and lives have been lost along with wedding photos and family heirlooms, and oh those poor pets being taken to the shelter, but I downloaded Imogen Heap’s new CD and it doesn’t suck, but what’s with that instrumental track?
The firefighters—such heroes, really, all the risks they take, the sacrifices they make, the horrors they face when they go up into those burning hills; I’m sure I couldn’t do it, especially for what they get paid, and you know who’d make a good firefighter in the movies—Russell Crowe, his last movie State of Play just came out on DVD and I should get that.
And California, California is on fire again.
