       “Norman?”
       “Yes mother?”
       “I was thinking.”
“Now, mother, you know that’s not a good idea. Nothing good ever comes of it when you’ve been thinking.”
“I’ve been thinking that I need to get out more often.”
       “Oh, mother.”
“My complexion, Norman. I’m getting awfully pale. I need a bit of sun.”
“Mother, you’re not quite yourself today. Why don’t you…”
“A bit of sun and maybe a new dress. This dowdy old thing.”
       “But mother…”
“A sassy little sundress, and maybe a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.”
“Mother, do you have any idea how many embezzlers from Phoenix I’d have to kill to buy pair of Christian Louboutins? With today’s economy, I’m lucky to kill three or four embezzlers a year. Oh, don’t pout so, mother.”
       “Norman?”
       “Yes mother?”
“How many embezzlers would it take for a pair of Beatrix Ong pumps?”
“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe two small-time embezzlers or one really good one.”
“They’re not Louboutins, but Beatrix Ong does make a lovely pump. Norman, perhaps you should go visit that nice young blonde embezzler that checked into Unit One.”
       “Must I?”
“You don’t want to disappoint your old mother, do you? Don’t forget your knife now, dear, there’s a good boy.”
