Look. Don’t say anything—just look. The first snow. Later it will turn all grey, later the sound of traffic will return, later people and animals will tread on it, sully it, turn it into something that has all the qualities of snow except the most important ones. Silence and purity.
But now—right now—it’s perfect. Too perfect for sound. So hush. Hush
