If you’re going to survive in this world, you’re going to need a lucky number. Might be notches in your bedpost; might be your bank balance; might be the miles you end up putting between you and the place where you were born. If you’re going to survive in this world, you’ve got to know that one is nobody’s lucky number, no matter what they think. If you’re going to survive in this world, don’t let a fortune cookie tell how how high to count. Look around. Figure it out. Your number is following you, out there. You’ve just got to find it. But when you do, don’t forget nobody said the luck would be good.
