There is no such thing as an unkempt lawn.

For in an unkempt lawn there are dandelions that bloom like miniature suns sending rays of  pure gold across the grass.

Then magic will happen as the yellow fades and the flowers shrivel, leaving in their place seed heads that reflect the light like clusters of diamonds, bejewelling the long grass of that spring lawn.

The garden becomes a place for solitary pursuits, a place to hide, to lie and read a book with the warmth of the sun  spreading down your arms.

There is no such thing as an untidy lawn as long as dandelions are left to do their work.
