Hiding

Cats are sometimes accused of hiding. It’s not so–cats do not hide. Cats have no reason to hide. They have no shame, so they need no privacy. They may have enemies, but cats don’t hide from them–they merely choose not to confront. Confrontation is for lesser creatures.

No, cats do not hide.

There are, however, times when they wish to remain unseen. But they’re not hiding, no. They’re stalking.
