I suppose it’s meant to be a warning – don’t fly too high, don’t get above yourself or you will fall. But I’ve never seen it that way. For me Icarus is about dreaming and daring to make dreams come true.

Icarus got too close to the sun and his wings melted, we are warned. But think of it another way – Icarus had the chance to get up close to the sun and took it.

Icarus could fly….
