Frozen
Nuuttipukki

I have never been to this place, never walked the boards on this frozen beach but from my fireside chair I can feel its wintry chill.

Water so cold that where spume should lap at golden sand, there is frost and ice on a muddy grey shore. Where there should be children giggling and splashing in shallow waters, there is an icy crust that would make even the most hardened toes curl and retreat. Where the sun should shine there are clouds laden with snow.

All life suspended, waiting for the thaw.
