“Sweetie, You might think I’m crazy” he says into the banana mouthpiece, “but it’s more adaptable than your swanky new iphone. At least when the power runs out I’ll have something nice to eat.”
“Hmm…and the colander on your head?” I ask.
He pauses for a moment, to hang up. “Well I could tell you that that’s to protect my head from squirrels dropping nuts, they do it a lot this time of year; but really the colander is just a style statement. The girls in London fashion week were wearing them. You wouldn’t understand.”
I raise my eyebrows. He sighs. “It’s an Iron Photographer thing, and really it’s no more stupid than waiting in line for hours to get the new 5S.”
It’s my turn to sigh, and I have to admit he looks good in a colander.
