Dance

Why Dance, why romance? This image is undoubtedly romantic. Surely you feel that, even if like me you know that winter was a bitch and that snow makes your feet cold and your eyes freeze. I swore I was done with snow pictures, but this is so romantic.

This sentiment isn’t the love that makes you get out of bed to make packed lunches for the family. Romance doesn’t feed you, you can’t survive on chocolate hearts. The courts are filled with folks filing for divorce. Even in the happiest homes couples stare into handheld devices and not each other’s eyes. The newspapers are full of war stories, financial disaster and despair, but heavens to Betsy this is so romantic.

A location that looks like an MGM sound stage from the 1950’s, a beautiful twilight, mist from the distant forest, five thousand kilowatts of stardust. There may be troubles ahead, the commute is going to be hell today and I bet they haven’t fixed the toilet at work, but this is romantic, so let’s dance.
