Colorado farm before the storm

Did Rorschach get the idea for his inkblot tests from the shapes that clouds form? This is a colorado farm before a storm, yet I see an angry dragon rearing towards me, like a cobra ready to lunge, eyes dark with despair and razors for teeth.

What does this tell you about me? I have no gripe with Colorado, I have never even been there, but I’m sure it is as charming or as irritating as any other state. Farms have only good memories for me. I wandered unharmed as a toddler through my Uncle Idris’s dairy herd  as they plooshed their way through mud to a milking shed; and the massive beasts veered carefully away from me, cleverly sensing my innocence and silliness. But when I look again at this picture the angry dragon is still there.

The sinews of its smokey scales look solid with power, as it readies itself to plunge to the path below. I imagine Jody Miller standing there, as confident as Prospero who conjured up a tempest, he had a staff and she has a camera. They both made magic. I see an angry dragon, I wonder what she saw.
