Here, have a seat. Rest your weary legs for a while. Right here, center stage,, where you can see everything and everybody can see you. You deserve to relax a bit, and you deserve a wee bit of attention. Folks just don’t realize how much you do for them. It’s not their fault — they’re busy and all. Got their own things to do. Besides, it’s not like you’re looking for approval, or expect to be thanked, or anything like that. You’re just doing what you’re supposed to do.

Still, it would be nice, wouldn’t it, if somebody noticed now and then. If somebody just said “Hey, thanks, good job.” You don’t need or want a big fuss; just an occasional nod or smile.

So here, have a seat. You do good work. We appreciate it. Thanks.
