InĀ Orchha, in November, on the day my twin daughters became teenagers, there was this moment.
Two beasts, a flick, cloven hooves and Giacometti legs, drooped ears, happy horns, flopped dewlaps, soft nostrils, curved bellies. There was this moment, in Orchha.
Far away in Toronto, we unknowingly ate cake.
