If you are told that you see the world through rose tinted glasses, do not be insulted. There is so much sorrow, suffering and darkness in life, it is good to be someone who can filter through it, and find beauty. Jody shows me the beauty of a smutty street in Los Angeles, or of drenching rain in Oregon. I could give you some twaddle about being prepared to take a long journey before you take some time to stop and smell the Provençal flowers, but we can find them right outside if we know how to look.
One day I will meet Jody and her glasses will be rosy pink.
