The coffee that was a lazy late morning luxury on Sunday is a brutal necessity on Monday. On Sunday you learned that it isn’t the chlorine in the swimming pool that makes your eyes red — it’s pee. The nitrogen in urine combines with chlorine to form chloramine, and that’s what makes your eyes red.
On Saturday, you spent the day at the pool.
Today is Monday. This how life works. Get used to it. Accept the past. Don’t be afraid to get back in the pool. Have a second cup. Keep going.
