Red Roof

Sometimes everything that needs to be said has already been said by somebody else. To wit:

“Once a definition of congruence is given, the choice of geometry is no longer in our hands; rather, the geometry is now an empirical fact.” — Hans Reichenbach

And:

“The cowboys have a way of trussing up a steer or a pugnacious bronco which fixes the brute so that it can neither move nor think. This is the hog-tie, and it is what Euclid did to geometry.” — Eric Temple Bell

Photographers have a way of trussing up a corrugated red roofed metal shed with congruent knots of geometry. This is an empirical fact.
