stormy night

One thing in life is certain – everything in life is transient.

A storm in 2010 may have felt like the end of the world. The sea may have crashed against the shore, the rain may have lashed at window panes, the wind may have bashed and battered anything in its path.

But there is always calm after the storm. And there is always a new storm some time in the future. You might get an hour’s respite, it could be a day, a year, even a decade.

All things are transient, and though it may be hard to believe when you’re in the storm, one day you’ll look back on it all from a distance, with perspective, knowing that this storm and the next storm and the next – they all passed.
