Linda

For Linda, patient Linda, to be sitting on a bench at the side of the road she must be awaiting something…or someone. Maybe she waits for her bus, her tram, her donkey cart, for her Jersey Caramel lollipop to dissolve, a funeral procession, a carnival, a political protest, the second coming of Prince Rogers Nelson, Superman, Godot, a shipment of rare silks and spices, enrichment, fulfillment, enlightenment, justice, the love of her life, the answer to all of her most earnest heartfelt prayers, the end of this exhausting day, or just the end of this ridiculous list.

Look at Linda patiently waiting for the click of a shutter…

But the thing is, if I’m not mistaken, these particular Leicas have very quiet shutters.
