Sunbathers Paris 2017

There is some homily in Chinese folklore which claims that a couple destined for one another are pulled together by an invisible thread. In our daily lives we are both  dreamers and logical people, so cherish the idea of destiny while always asking to see some evidence. But as photographers we freeze moving shadows and see invisible threads every day.

The walking man and the empty chair are pulled together by an invisible thread. The seated figure too. There are so very many invisible threads in this picture that I ended up stuck in the web.
