the magic of circles

The humble circle has always held a certain appeal beyond our senses — something Jungian, perhaps. Countless folks still insist on it for protection, or to denote a sacred space, or to contain magical energies that might otherwise go willy-nilly.

Consider the young mystic we see here. It’s not clear whether she cast this circle herself or merely discovered a vivid scrawl left behind by some other lightworker. But there’s clearly a deep magic at hand, one that she understands. In this moment there is a little world being built, or maybe it’s being pulled apart for a peek at what’s inside. And we have the good fortune to see it happen.
