Just one of those minor mysteries

Sometimes mysteries are better not solved. Sometimes they are fragments to be admired, glimpses of famous – or infamous – artists in peeling scraps of paper, that will eventually fall or be pulled away along with licks of old paint.
Sometimes it is more revealing to keep things hidden.
Often, it is those minor mysteries that linger in the mind to be savoured again and again as time goes by.
