Murre or Guillemot?
When asked the question Murre or Guillemot, the answer could be:
either
neither
both.
It could also be auk, but let’s not talk about the auk.
Let’s think about the pyriform eggs, that allow unborn chicks to pirouette on perilous ledges.
Refuse to revel in the recreations of rock climbers who unintentionally wreck their resting places.
Prefer not to ponder on the pollution that plunders their population.
Let’s not be guilty about the guillemot or demur about the murre.
Instead let’s celebrate the seabird and simply appreciate the scene.
