Big Red Wall

We have all been there. When we got dumped by someone fancy who we thought we loved, when we got fired, or when we could not quit some soul-sucking job; when we felt friendless and alone, that big red wall encircled us. That hollow shame we wanted to bury, that’s when we hit the wall. It was there every waking moment and it was even lurking in our dreams, it stretched so high that we couldn’t see where it ended, it blocked our every effort to move on.

So yes, we all know that big red wall, and we all occasionally find a door.
