an der Isarwelle in Plattling

Sometimes the Utata editing team gets together. I’d like to say we hang out sipping Caipirinhas on a Latin American beach, going for long bike rides at a secret location in Iowa, or discovering natural ice sculptures lakeside in Toronto, but that’s simply not true. It’s mainly excuses for why we can’t write something — proper excuses involving snakes, great loss, house renovations, floods.

This week we got together to express how lost for words we all were.

Because though it’s a cliché – a picture is worth a thousand words. And this image is exactly that.

But we just can’t find the right words, because there are endless possibilities in this scene, and it’s impossible for us to choose just one.

So we give you this picture and invite you to think up your own story.
