When I grow up
I’ll paint on walls.
I’ll cover them
like waterfalls
with colors bold
as prayer shawls,
and I will wear
red overalls.

I’ll never work,
I’ll dance instead.
I’ll never have
to make my bed.
You can call me
a puddinghead,
but i’m dancing now
and my pants are red.
