When there is almost nothing left to see we notice the imperfections. The broken headlight. The staggered overlap of white paint on a dark road. The solitary fencepost.The twig which resolutely refused to be pruned by high-sided passing trucks. The cracks on the sidewalk.

Our world is imperfect; and it is beautiful.
