dunkle wolken

I know a few words of German — Dunkle and wolken are two of them.

I’ll gladly confess to not knowing many others, aside from the usual suspects – thank you, hello. Tschüss and danke.

But photography is its own language. Here it is adding to the clouds looming overhead, with the suggestion of a rumble of thunder, some forked lightening overhead. And in the distance, beyond the bridge where cars transport commuters rushing to get home before the heavens open, beyond the church where you get a hint of those heavens as they open, in the distance, there is a brightening.

A pot of gold, though the rainbow has yet to materialize.
